Setiap orang pasti pernah ngerasain yang namanya insecure. Insecure, atau rasa nggak aman, bisa diartikan sebagai rasa takut akan sesuatu yang dipicu oleh rasa nggak puas dan nggak yakin sama kapasitas diri sendiri. Insecurity is a natural part of the human experience, setiap orang ngerasain insecure dalam level yang berbeda-beda. No matter who we are and what we do, pasti kita pernah ngerasain yang namanya insecure. Mungkin, rasa insecure berlebihan suka bikin kita jadi nggak percaya diri. Tapi bukan berarti rasa insecure bikin kita jadi kalah sama keadaan. Let's see what should we say to ourself whenever we feel insecure.

 

 

1. IT'S OK TO FEEL INSECURE SOMETIMES

Setiap ngerasa down dan insecure, kita harus inget kalo it's okay to feel that way. Give ourself permission to feel what we feel. Because that acceptance will make it easier, daripada kita nyembunyiin dan malah jadi menyiksa diri sendiri. We let everybody knows that we are feeling down, just talk to our loved ones.

 

2. EVERYONE DEALS WITH INSECURITIES

Yup! Semua orang ngerasa insecure. Just because one of our friends say that we are not good enough or we're not that good looking, we feel like we’re the most weirdo on the planet? Nope, jangan pernah ngerasa kaya gitu. Tell to ourself "well i’m maybe look a bit different from the others but it doesn't mean i’m weird." And we should know that everyone deals with insecureties. Kita nggak sendirian kok.

 

3. I CAN BE INSECURE AND STILL BE A STRONG PERSON

Jangan jadiin perasaan insecure itu boomerang buat kita. Coba deh, gunain perasaan kita itu sebagai kekuatan kita. When we feel insecure, don't add to that misery by telling ourself that we are weak, because we're not.

 

4. MY INSECURITIES WILL GET BETTER THE MORE I CHALLENGE MYSELF

Sebenernya kita bisa merasa bersyukur banget karena rasa insecure yang kita rasain. Well, in the good way, kita merasa kalo ada suatu yang kurang, we can make it better to cure our insecurities. Once in a while, kita harus keluar dari zona nyaman kita.

 

5. I CAN USE MY INSECURITY AS MOTIVATION

We all know being insecure isn't feels nice, but that feeling can be our motivation to push ourself to do, say, or think the things that we're afraid of, tapi sebenernya pengen banget kita utarain. We'll slowly but surely cross items off that mental list of things that make us feel insecure.

 

6. I CAN BE INSECURE AND STILL LIKE MYSELF

The most important thing from all of this, don't forget to proud of ouself. And don't compare ourself with others. Mungkin kita sering ngerasa insecure sama kekurangan kita sendiri. But then, jangan pernah lupa buat selalu sadar kalo apapun yang terjadi sama diri kita, we need to love ourself. Kita juga harus nikmatin dan syukurin apa yang udah Tuhan kasih ke kita, know that a lot of people out there wishing they were you.
